Lego Robotics — Beginners

In our LEGO® Education Robotics workshops children take their first steps into programming and engineering in a playful, hands-on way. Using LEGO® elements such as sensors, smart bricks, gears, belts and pulleys, they build and code real working models, then explore how machines work — and why they sometimes don't. Tablets and computers with icon-based programming environments bring their creations to life. Activities progress from simple to more complex challenges, and every session is built around discovery: investigating how components move, swing or interact, then devising creative improvements when things go wrong.
This introductory group is designed for the first years of primary school and uses LEGO® Education SPIKE Essentials, WeDo 2.0 and StoryStarter, enriched with BricQ Motion sets for physical science exploration. Children develop creativity, problem-solving skills and a foundation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, along with early skills in programming and computational thinking, mechanical reasoning and design, communication and collaboration, and basic physics and maths concepts — supported throughout by the logical thinking, resilience and teamwork the challenges demand.

Classes begin in the week of 21 September 2026.
For children in P1 to P3. Children in P3 may join either the beginners or the advanced group depending on prior experience.
Fee: €54.50/month, the provider's published rate for 2026/27, irrespective of the number of sessions in the month. To be confirmed for this class. The provider invoices parents directly.
Group size: maximum 12 children per mentor. Places are allocated first come, first served.
