Football — Tuesday
with ONS Ljubljana
Football for children in P1 to P5, run in partnership with ONS Ljubljana. Sessions mix technical exercises with small-sided games and match-style formats, so children are active and playing from the first minute. The curriculum covers healthy training habits, ball control (dribbling, passing, shooting), simple tactical awareness such as 1v1 situations and group positioning, and general physical coordination. Alongside the football, children build perseverance, teamwork and a genuine enjoyment of sport through age-appropriate challenges and regular playdays, culminating in a festival or award presentation at the end of the programme.
Once enrolment reaches the numbers agreed with the school, the children are split into a younger and an older group, each with its own coach, so exercises and games are pitched at the right level for every child. No prior experience is needed.
